Maynard Signs with Lady Bulldogs

The Lady Bulldogs Soccer team is pleased to announce the signing of Lebanon High School's Khrysten Maynard for the 2008-09 season. "Kat," pictured sitting with brother, Konnor; mother, Robin; father and local soccer league president, Randy (back left); and coach Jim Stradley (back right) has played soccer in Lebanon throughout her entire career. She turned down interest from a school in West Virginia to stay home and play.

"We are excited to have Khrysten," said CU Head Coach Jeff Loucks. "She and her family have contributed much to the growth of soccer in Lebanon.

Moorehead Signs with Lady Bulldogs

(Picture not available )

Moorhead, a 5'7" senior standout at Wilson Central in Lebanon, will likely start out in the defense and may eventually move back to midfield as she gains experience, according to Bulldog head coach Jeff Loucks.

"Paige's lack of high-level experience puts her somewhat behind some of her teammates, but she is an excellent athlete, and we expect her to be a fine player in the very near future," Loucks said. "She has good size and strength and should adapt quickly to this level of play."

Soccer is the fastest growing sport in Wilson County and our goal is to see continued success while offering a fun and learning experience for the children of this area.  LYSA was established in 1994 and has seen over 10% growth each season.  Soccer offers important skills that all children can benefit from such as:

  • Teamwork
  • Fun & Healthy Exercise
  • Social Interaction
  • Healthy Competition

We currently offer two levels of soccer play for children interested in the sport.  Recreational soccer is open to all children ages 4-17 years of age and is a fun way to learn and develop soccer skills while engaging in a non-competitive, coed form of play.  If you or your child seeks a more advanced level of play Lebanon Soccer Club is the answer!

We hope you enjoy your soccer experience and please contact us with any suggestions or concerns.
